Happy Valentines Day!! We had a fantastic day today. Seeing students read all of the compliments that others wrote for them warmed my heart. I love the time I get to spend with this group of Challengers!

Reading

Challengers are continuing to read different informational text structures . This week we are focusing on problem and solution. We will be finishing this trimester with both reading and writing assessments.  

 

Assessments

Challengers will be assessed in reading, writing, and math this week. Due to this schedule change we will not have spelling or math practice for homework. Students will be given their reading logs.

Celebration

Challengers have successfully filled our classroom jar again! We are still waiting on a couple of votes. Please stay tuned for our celebration update…

We will be finishing our read aloud book Shiloh. Next week we will be watching the movie version and writing a comparison piece.
