Field Day Fun on Friday! Thank you to all of our volunteers!

Students only have nightly reading next week for homework. I hope everyone is having a great three day weekend!

Happy Memorial Day!

We had a great time at Ethan Allen Homestead. Students learned a lot about how we can conserve water and the amount of water that is wasted on a daily basis. Thank you to our chaperones Mrs. Barnes, Mrs. Gangsei, Mr. Nault, and Mrs. Stamm for your help today.

This week has been filled with cards, notes, snacks, flowers, hugs, and poems. Thank you!  I am so grateful for the time I get to spend with this AMAZING class of learners.

A quick reminder about our field trip tomorrow. Students need to bring a bagged snack and lunch (no glass please.) They should dress comfortably and be prepared to get a bit wet. Some of the activities we have been told may involve water, food dye, and a lot of running. Sneakers would be ideal. Also we will be outside most of the day so students should wear sunscreen and have a water bottle.

A special Thank You! to our 4 Winds Teachers- Mrs. Stamm & Mr. MacAuley. We had a blast learning more about owls and dissecting owl pellets.

Students did a WONDERFUL job taking the math portion  of the SBAC this week. Next week we will be taking the reading portion.

Reading & Writing- Students learned about the different parts and functions of the flower this week. We learned about the benefits of pollination and the variety of pollinators.
